Melissa Linette Danielson

  Melissa was born in Maracay, Venezuela and migrated to the US at the age of 2. Hopping from state to state, her family finally settled in Hollywood, FL when she was 7 years old. Growing up, her travels around the US and the world created a love of people with diverse beliefs, culture and art and how the three are intertwined.

  In 2014, Melissa graduated from the University of Florida with a BFA specializing in ceramics. Soon after, she began a position as an art teacher for preschool and elementary aged students, where she created curriculum for special art classes and the school's art programming.

  Throughout the last decade, Melissa continued teaching hand building at several different ceramic studios. After leaving her teaching position, she began hosting private group painting, ceramics, and inner child healing art classes. In 2021 she co-founded a nonprofit organization geared toward encouraging the arts in the community.

  Melissa sees art as an intuitive experience, helping her connect deeper with herself and believes everyone can experience a sense of self connectedness through the arts.
